christmas day

Since the vacation was a special “family present” this year, it was mostly a stocking-stuffer year for Santa (though he did surprise the kids with some bags that came in handy for souvenirs on the trip home). It was one of the best Christmas mornings we’ve ever had, doing a whole lot of nothing but playing games, relaxing, and enjoying each other’s company, a toasty fire, holiday music, and George C. Scott (the definitive Scrooge, in my book). :-)
