Like he isn’t enough of a character without flamboyant accessories!

Okay, so there’s no catwalk. And the only modeling he does is in front of his mamarazza’s camera. Today we had a little mini shoot in his bedroom with his beloved lion shirt- a gift from Auntie Julie from her friend’s boutique. It was kind of a combination three-year-portrait session/ fashion shoot for Copenhagen Styles/ documentary of the new Haircut That Made Mommy Cry.

wedding in a winter wonderland

Mother Nature didn’t provide any actual snow (which was actually great news for my road trip), but that didn’t stop Kara & Chris from having their winter wonderland wedding extraordinaire on December 29th. The ceremony was held at Lawrencefield Parish in Wheeling, West Virginia, and the reception followed at the Wheeling Artisan Center. I could easily get all Wordy McPrattle about the myriad details that made their event so fabulous, but it’s late (erm, I mean, early in the a.m.), I’m on my second glass of Chardonnay, and it’s probably better to just let the photos do the talking…

I know it looks like he’s making eye contact with me here, but I just momentarily stepped between his gaze and its object (this was shot at 200mm; he was totally looking at his bride coming through the door for the first time).
